Eleven Brindleyplace has always been the place to be seen and now the Department for Transport has backed a £149M extension of Birmingham’s tram network that will see Brindleyplace connected to the Midland Metro.
The line is being taken an additional 1.2 miles from outside New Street station to Hagley Road.
As previously mooted, there will be stops outside Town Hall Birmingham and at Centenary Square, in Broad Street, where passengers can access the ICC, Library of Birmingham and new HSBC UK head office.
The other stops will be in front of 54 Hagley Road and opposite Brindleyplace at the corner of Granville Street, 2 minutes from the MSO Business Centre at Eleven Brindleyplace.
With up to ten trams an hour at peak times, the best location in Birmingham for serviced offices just got even better.
And now with Birmingham announcing its bid to host the 2022 Commonwealth Games, a successful bid could be the catalyst for fast tracking several infrastructure projects across the region.
